Pattern designing
The wide range of our production is the result of many years of continuous work of ours designers and tailors. While sewing the sheepskin coats and leather jackets we have high regard for the leather and we always remember to stick to iron- clad principles of tailor’s and furrier’s craftsmanship. But we are also open to changing fashion trends and needs of our customers. Thanks to this complex approach to out craft we create original clothes that have their own style, interesting aesthetics and look well. Our clothes are impeccably tailored and perfectly finished - from sewing to tailor’s additions used.
Sheepskin coats
Skins used by us to make our sheepskin coats come from the best Italian and Spanish tanneries, which have been regarded all over the world for many years. Thanks to this, the clothes sewn by us are characterized by lightness, softness and high durability.
We use mainly noble variations of lamb skins like Toscana and Merino that differ in length of the hair and the way of tanning and finish. Some of them are covered by a delicate but a very durable furrier’s foil, which increases the vitality of sheepskin coats and makes them easier to maintain – they needn’t to be cleaned too often.
For other coats we use nappalan cover of antique kind. This kind of leather is characterized by moderate resistance to friction, which gives the effect of so called “beautiful leather ageing”. On the surface of the leather tanned in this way, discolorations, swellings, minor scratches are visible, which are not defects, but a proof of originality and authenticity of the leather material.
In other kinds of leather the vento type cover was used at tanning. Thanks to it, the leather is resistant to friction and very spectacular - with visible stripes or spots on the surface. As it comes to women’s collection, some of the models have interesting additions like fox, raccoon dog, wolf or raccoon fur. Those appendages significantly increase the esthetic and visual values of particular models and they are appreciated by women.
Leather jackets
Similarly to sheepskin coats, the raw materials used for sewing leather jackets come from the same reputable tanneries. There we use some kinds of lamb leather available in a wide range of colors.
The majority of our production is based on leather tanned and colored in a natural way, i.e. without use of any harmful chemical agents. That kind of leather is characterized by unusual gentleness and softness, it is slightly ingrained. This is why it keeps the typical attributes of leather i.e. spots, natural scares, scratches, discolorations, etc., visible on the surface.
Another kind of raw material used by us is the latest generation of matt leather which only recently, i.e. in 2009, appeared on exhibitions in Italy. That leather is soft like silk and light; it looks like a delicate material. For sewing our jackets we also use the leather of the pull-up type, with light or a bit stronger gloss, the crushed and stripped leather with distinctive uneven surface structure and traditional shagreen raw leather, i.e. superficially colored leather, characterized by high durability and valued by customers.
